City of Milwaukee Plays Fast and Loose with Citizens Rights

When citizens break the law, they are fined or go to jail. What happens when government breaks the law?

A few weeks ago Wisconsin Carry Members alerted us to some illegal posting of city property. The City of Milwaukee has 2 public 'self-service' waste disposal sites for city residents. State law only allows municipalities to prohibit carry IN city buildings or on outdoor property for "special events".

The City of Milwaukee unlawfully posted their city disposal sites taking advantage of the fact most people are not educated on the specifics of Wisconsin law.

This morning I accompanied a City of Milwaukee resident who wanted to dump some recyclables at the city disposal site his tax dollars pay for.

Upon arriving we asked to speak to a supervisor regarding the unlawful prohibition of guns on the property as we were both carrying.

Here is the result: http://fox6now.com/2015/08/04/ccw-confrontation-at-waste-disposal-center-city-is-not-allowed-to-ban-concealed-carry-on-this-property/

If you are a City of Milwaukee resident... Or if you'd just like to let the city of Milwaukee know that anti-gun cities are not above state law...  Here is contact information for your city council: http://city.milwaukee.gov/CommonCouncil#.VcGH5PlViko%20

Feel free to contact Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett and tell him that Wisconsin's most unsafe city, of all places, shouldn't be unlawfully deterring people's right to carry where state law legally allows them to do so.
